Director of Nursing Services. (Effective Until June 30, 2027.)(1) the Facility Shall Have a Director of Nursing Services. the Director of Nursing Services Shall Be a Registered Nurse Or an *Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner.(2) the Director of Nursing Services Is Responsible For:(A) Coordinating the Plan of Care for Each Resident;(B) Permitting Only Licensed Personnel to Administer Medications: Provided, That Nothing Herein Shall Be Construed As Prohibiting Graduate Nurses Or Student Nurses From Administering Medications When Permitted to Do So Under Chapter 18.79 Rcw and Rules Adopted Under It: Provided Further, That Nothing Herein Shall Be Construed As Prohibiting Persons Certified Under **Chapter 18.135 Rcw From Practicing Pursuant to the Delegation and Supervision Requirements of **Chapter 18.135 Rcw and Rules Adopted Under It; And(C) Insuring That the Licensed Practical Nurses and the Registered Nurses Comply with Chapter 18.79 Rcw, and Persons Certified Under **Chapter 18.135 Rcw Comply with the Provisions of That Chapter and Rules Adopted Under It.[ 1994 Sp.S.
